Elkie is still unwell and regrettably her upcoming show in Norwich has been postponed until June 27th. Elkie is determined to be in New Brighton on Saturday and apologies to everyone concerned.
SCOTLAND 07/02/11
Unfortunately Elkie has come down with a throat infection and has had to reschedule her shows in Inverness and Perth. New dates have been announced and Elkie apologises to anyone who has been affected by the postponments. Please be assured Elkie will be fighting fit in time for her next shows in Norwich and New Brighton.

"I just wanted to say a huge thank you to everybody who has come along to see the tour this year. I appreciate that times are hard at the moment and am so thankful so many of you turned up to support us. I have had a lovely time on the road as always and am very much looking forward to 2012. We have some great new songs planned for the live set, some of which have been tried out at the last few shows and I will be releasing my autobiography in the summer. There will be no time to rest on my laurels next year!
I do hope you all have a lovely Christmas and a happy and successful 2012!

We were very saddend to hear about the passing of Tony Kirk this week. Tony was a life long Elkie supporter and a throughly lovely human being. Our thoughts and love are with his dear wife Veronica and daughter Emma at this sad time.
2012 13/12/11
Elkie will be performing her last show of 2011 in Wales this coming Saturday and further details of her 2012 tour have now been posted on the concerts page. The tour will run throughout the year with Elkie taking some time in the summer months to promote her forthcoming autobiography.
FURTHER 2012 TOUR DATES 13/11/11
Even more dates have been confirmed for Elkie's 2012 tour. Stops will be made at Millfield, Felixstowe, Maidstone, Blackpool and Ashburton.
BOB HARRIS BBC RADIO 2 SHOW 29/09/11
In the summer Elkie took part in a special programme about the history of the Old Grey Whistle Test to broadcast on BBC Radio 2. She joined the likes of Brian May, Jackson Browne and Emmylou Harris in the studio to celebrate this legendary music programme.
Elkie's live session featuring tracks from her new album Powerless are scheduled to be aired on Bob's Sunday show this coming weekend October 2nd.
BBC Four have also been running footage of Elkie during her time in Vinegar Joe as part of the celebrations. The programme "Old Grey Whistle Test: 70's Gold" was shown twice last weekend and can now be viewed online here.
BARNSTAPLE CHARITY CONCERT 29/09/11
It has been 10 years since Elkie performed in Barnstaple, North Devon the town she now calls home and she has now decided to perform a very special concert in aid of Children's Hospice South West. This memorable event will take place at the Queen's Theatre on June 16th 2012 with all profitis going to the cause.
Elkie will be supported by local singer Jenna Witts and the evneing will be hosted by BBC Radio Devon's Judi Spiers.
Tickets priced at £25 and £75 VIP (which includes premium seating, Souvenir Brochure, VIP Laminate and Post show champagne reception with Elkie) will be on sale Friday 30th September.
Tickets are expected to go quickly and can be purcahsed by phone on 01271 32 42 42 or online through the Queen's Theatre.

EXETER 02/09/11
Elkie will be making a stop in Exeter on her 2012 tour. This will be the first time Elkie has appeared in the city for almost 20 years. Tickets for 17th March are onsale now and available through the Corn Exchange website.
JERRY LEIBER 23/08/11
Legendary songwriter Jerry Leiber has died aged 78. Famous for so, so many classic songs with his partner Mike Stoller, they wrote Elkie's classic hit single Pearl's A Singer and produced her albums Two Days Away and Live and Learn in the late 1970's. Elkie was saddened to hear the news this morning and sends her love and best wishes to his family and loved ones.

Unfortunately the date for Elkie's London show has been moved to February 24th due to a double booking at the venue. Tickets will be onsale next week.
LONDON 2012 31/07/11
As part of the 2012 tour Elkie will be visiting her favourite London venue Cadogan Hall on her 67th Birthday, February 25th. This promises to be another special night and will be onsale in the near future.
2012 TOUR 31/07/11
The first batch of dates for Elkie's 2012 tour have now been confirmed. Elkie is enjoying life on the road so much that the tour will now carry on throughout 2012. Not all dates are yet on sale, but some are and already selling quickly. To see the dates please check the concerts page for more details.
OUTDOOR SHOWS 2011 17/05/11
Elkie and the band will be performing at 3 outdoor concerts this summer set in the beautiful English countryside. The first of these, on June 26th, will be at Stafford Castle where she will be performing as part of the Stafford Shakespeare Festival for a special one off music concert.
For July 16th, Knepp Castle will be the setting and the concert will be in aid of the charity AMBER, helping raise funds for homeless and unemployed young people. Standard tickets and champagne VIP packages are available.
Finally, Elkie will be making a welcome return to Gawsworth Hall on August 6th where she will perform in the beautiful gardens of this ancient manor house in Cheshire.
CWMBRAN 31/07/11
The last date of Elkie's 2011 tour has been confirmed in the Welsh town of Cwmbran on December 16th at Castell-y-bwch. Check concerts page for more details.
BOB HARRIS SHOW 18/07/11
Elkie will be appearing live on the Bob Harris show on BBC Radio 2 over the coming weeks as part of a celebration of the Old Grety Whistle Test. She will be performing live in the studio as well as being interviewed. More information to follow.
